BEST FOOD IN NEW SMYRNA BEACH

Bring a date or bring the whole family, New Smyrna Beach restaurants look forward to your visit.

Don’t leave New Smyrna without exploring The Dolphin View Seafood Restaurant, which has taken what was best from the older place and made it better. The seafood restaurant now offers dinner and scenic river cruises. For those in your family who don’t like seafood, (may the Lord have mercy on their Soul) they have hamburgers and chicken dishes to go along with being one of the best seafood restaurants in town.

As you enjoy The Dolphin View Restaurant, dolphins swim gracefully by, gulls wheel their way back to shore and pelicans look-on with envy. Enjoy Florida at its finest. Experience an open-air seating area and plenty of dockside seating. The view is outstanding.

Come take a break at The Breakers Restaurant, an iconic landmark on Flagler Avenue in New Smyrna Beach, Florida since the 1900’s. Surrounded by white sandy beaches and rolling ocean waves, it is a destination loved by locals and tourists alike.

With a desire for a warmer climate and an interest in relocating their corporate offices to Florida, the McKenney family acquired The Breakers Restaurant in 1990. Upon ownership of the restaurant, the McKenneys set to work revamping the interior and exterior of the building. Gone was the brick façade and dimly lit interior. After many months of construction, The Breakers was completely renovated allowing a more scenic view of the ocean and a generous seating area around the bar. Modeling after popular Florida color schemes, the building was painted a bright pink standing out against the beautiful backdrop of the white sandy beaches!

The Breakers is one of the original buildings on Historic Flagler Avenue with gorgeous views of New Smyrna Beach. Whether you decide to watch a sports game, take a break from the sand & surf, or just get a great meal and hang out with friends, this is one location unique to all of Central Florida you shouldn’t miss!

Randy Kinzey along with his wife Peggy opened the doors to Blackbeard’s Inn Restaurant & Lounge in June of 1980 with a “make it or break it attitude.” It took working 18 hour days, constant effort, and a lot of sacrifices to get the restaurant running smoothly and off the ground. For over 30 years they have been serving the finest steak and seafood in New Smyrna Beach.

Through the years, most restaurants have left out soup and salad bars because of the added expense, but Blackbeard’s has remained a staple throughout their history. Fresh soup, salads and sauces are made from scratch daily. Mouth watering entrees include seafood from local docks, fresh cut steaks and slow cooked prime rib. The Raw Bar, which serves fresh shucked oysters and clams, was one of the first in the area.

Their key ingredients to success have always been to serve fresh food and provide great service at reasonable prices. Their commitment to service and quality has led to countless loyal customers from this small town, to all across the country. Over the years the Kinzey’s goal has always been to treat customers as extended family. They pride themselves on the fact that many of their employees have been with them for over 20 years.

Now Randy and Peggy Kinzey, along with the next generation, their son Jason, look forward to the next 30 years with hopes of seeing the business grow and maintaining the quality it was originally founded on.

Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and fine dining that’s made them popular for over 30 years
