Today we would like to take the time to inform you of a email scam attempting to infect your computer with a virus.
The subject of the email will be something along the lines of
Notice to Appear in Court
The message body will be something along these lines
Notice to Appear,
You have to appear in the Court on the April 02.
Please, prepare all the documents relating to the case and bring them to Court on the specified date.
Note: The case will be heard by the judge in your absence if you do not come.
The copy of Court Notice is attached to this email.

You’ll notice the grammatical errors in the text, this was our first hint. After doing some research online we learned about this email that is going around and we felt it would be best to inform all of you so you can be on the lookout for it.
The name of the district clerk will change (we have received two of these emails within a week).
Always be careful when opening any files in any email from anyone! Do research before you open any attachment, even if the email looks official. This is not the only one we have received in this fashion, we also have gotten one about a failed FedEx delivery.
