We’re not just a pretty face. Aside from being home to some of Florida’s most beautiful beaches, New Smyrna Beach is chock full of a wide array of engaging events straight through the end of the year and beyond!
Every month along historic Canal Street, visitors can enjoy a Classic Car Show including great food and entertainment; a Craft Beer Walk, where participants can sample a delicious array of craft beers; and Music Night at the Hub, with live performances by talented local artists.
Flagler Avenue is filled with fun too! There are art demonstrations and a unique variety of fine arts and crafts during the Art Walk on Flagler October 22nd, or try your choice of wines during a Progressive Wine Tasting event.
The fun never ends in New Smyrna Beach. Take October for example….Compete for prizes and appreciate sand sculpture at the Sand Art Festival October 22nd. Enjoy the Halloween Parade and Costume Contest on October 31st. Get your jog on at the New Smyrna-Ween 5k, 10k and Little Devil Beach Runs October 29th. If you like a good show, The Little Theatre of NSB presents performances of “Arsenic and Old Lace” throughout the month.
Halifax Sports Fishing Club sponsors an inshore fishing tournament in October and kicks off November with a surf fishing tournament. Additionally, the New Smyrna Beach Kite Festival is a must see November 19th and 20th.
In December, take in the beautiful Christmas light display on Flagler, take the family to the Christmas Parade on the 3rd; and enjoy the New Smyrna Beach Rock and Roll Festival December 15-18. But wait, that’s not all! New Smyrna Beach always has spectacular fireworks on New Year’s Eve to ring in the new year.
