If you’re all about endurance and health, you may want to run over to Flagler Avenue in New Smyrna Beach because it is packed to the gills with running events in 2022!
Flagler Avenue kicked off the New Year hot out of the gate with the January 1st New Year Beach 5K Run; and then for so much fast fun it was scary, there was the New Smyrna Beach Voodoo Mardi Gras Beach 5K in February.
As luck would have it, the Shamrock ‘n Roll Beach 5K is Saturday March 12th; and since we all know that slow and steady wins the race, the New Smyrna Beach Memorial Day Turtle Trek 5K Run/Walk is on May 28th.
In celebration of Independence Day, don’t miss the July 2nd New Smyrna Beach Ice Cream Beach 5K, where you can run or walk to claim your post-race ice cream. Now that’s what I’m talking about!
September 3rd is the First Responders Beach 5K in support of those who support us so well; and October 8th is the New Smyrna Beach Great Candy Race ¼ Marathon & 5K.
There’s even a November 24th New Smyrna Beach Gobble Wobble to work off those Thanksgiving Day calories!
And if you like walking (and wine) more than running, don’t forget that there is a Flagler Avenue Wine Walk on the last Saturday of every month!
