Local Networking

As a business owner in New Smyrna Beach you rely on your local community and tourists for growth. When you run a business you think the obvious problem you will run into is your competition. We are here to prove that this is not necessarily the case. Sure Google wants us to compete for the top spot in web search results and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and we have to work hard to become noticed on the internet but it doesn’t mean we can’t work together.

There are many marketing tactics a business can use to get to the top but at what cost? Why not work together to promote and share our information to the web?

Here are a few suggestions you could follow if you do not already have an SEO specialist working with you.

Step 1 – Through Facebook go ahead and like the businesses around you and help them share their information.  You are not only growing your audience by liking someone else’s business page but they will hopefully like your page back. You will have gained another member on your Facebook page.

Step 2 – Link articles and posts on each other’s pages. The only problem with this method is that not everyone is aboard the same train and you will just end up promoting them with nothing in exchange.

Step 3 – Word of mouth is always the best advertisement and if you are honest and do a professional job most likely they will recommend you to someone else in the future. This works visa versa.

Step 4- Social Media is the best way to communicate with your clients. One of our favorite parts of the day is interactive live with our community and keeping current with local events. We are all connected in one way or another so why not making it a pleasant experience for all.

Hosting NSB believes that working together not only limits conflict between business owners but it helps us all to grow and flourish together. Networking is a productive and effective marketing tool that should be used to enhance your business in the present and future.
